Which Nylon Filament is Best???
Description
Choosing the right nylon for your application isn't always straightforward. This video explains the differences between the Nylon filaments in the PolyMide™ family allowing you to pair the right nylon with your application.
CoPA - PolyMide™ CoPA is a co-polymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The filament combines excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance of up to 180˚C. Great for wear resistance and tough applications such as 3D printed gears.
PA6-GF - PolyMide™ PA6-GF is a glass fiber reinforced PA6 (Nylon 6) filament. The material exhibits excellent thermal and mechanical properties without sacrificing layer adhesion. Great for 3D printing Carbon Fiber molds, can be easily sanded and post-processed.
PA6-CF - PolyMide™ PA6-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced PA6 (Nylon 6) filament. The carbon fiber reinforcement provides significantly improved stiffness, strength and heat resistance with outstanding layer adhesion. Best in class mechanical properties, suited to a wide range of applications.
PA12-CF - PolyMide™️ PA12-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced PA12 (Nylon 12) filament. Thanks to the low moisture sensitivity of PA12, this filament features outstanding mechanical and thermal properties even after the moisture conditioning process. All the benefits of carbon fiber reinforced nylon without any moisture issues.
