When you can’t buy it, MAKE IT! Super Custom Tub Shelf
Description
Making a custom bathtub shelf that's also wall art when not in use. Brought to you by Squarespace. For 10% off your first purchase, go to: http://squarespace.com/makesomething
We recently remodeled our primary bathroom, but it lacked a tub shelf for a cozy, relaxing bath. This woodworking project is incredibly simple and fully customizable to your tub size and luxury preferences. I designed mine to hang slightly lower than pre-made ones, using several dowel-reinforced miters for a unique "dip." Additionally, I incorporated a permanent, foldable iPad holder, along with spaces for drinks and candles. I also wanted this bathtub shelf to look like a piece of art when hung on the wall so I added some colorful inlay to the underside. I hope this video inspires you to customize everything and encourages you to Make Something!
