Volvo EX30 first look: The compact electric SUV we need right now
Description
After the debut of its flagship electric SUV – the EX90 – last year, Volvo has returned with something a bit more compact, but just as cool. Starting at just $35,000, the EX30 shares a similar design while also sporting a bunch of premium features like Pilot Assist, wireless Apple Car Play and rear passenger detection. It’s got decent range too, delivering around 275 miles before needing a charge. However, if you’re OK with upgrading to a higher-spec config with an AWD dual-motor setup, the EX30 can do 0 to 6 in just 3.4 seconds. Which is not only is it the fastest Volvo ever made, it’s also speedier than bigger and more expensive rivals like the Tesla Model Y Performance.
