Sonos Roam is a smart speaker built for adventures

Sonos just announced the Roam, a new portable smart speaker the promises serious sound with all the features you'd expect from a Sonos devices. The Roam is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, and can play from a mobile device with Bluetooth. At home on your wifi, it can slot into your network of other Sonos devices, and should be smart about switching it's connection if you grab it and go. It's also Sonos cheapest speaker at, and may be a way in if you've been curious about trying out the smart-speaker ecosystem.
