Over 75,000 3D Printed Face Shields and PPE Delivered: Maker Response Hub Update
Description
When the Hub launched in March, MatterHackers set a goal to deliver 25,000 pieces of 3D printed PPE. With the volunteers’ hustle, effort, and passion, the Hub was able to triple that, delivering 75,235 face shields and PPE components to 181 medical facilities and first responders across the U.S. Thank YOU for continuing to exceed our expectations of what the 3D printing community is capable of.
The Hub was created to use the tools we have to help those in need. Whether it’s healthcare professionals and first responders on the front lines fighting a pandemic, relief efforts toward natural disasters, or even supplying educational tools to underserved classrooms, the Maker Response Hub is a philanthropic manufacturing solution for good, powered by you.
