New Macbook Pro 2018 Revisions - What's New?
Description
In this video, I take a look at the new 2018 Revisions of the Macbook Pro. Both the 13 inch and 15 inch models with touch bar received updates to the latest 8th Generation Coffee lake CPU.
The 15 inch models can now be configured up to 32 GB of Ram and you can even upgrade the internal SSD storage to 4TB!
Apple also included the T2 chip which allows you to use SIRI hands free. The speakers have been improved to deliver slightly more volume and bass and the butterfly keyboard has seen some improvement, reducing the noise levels by 3 decibels. They have also had some subtle improvements to the design in order to mitigate the affects of dust and food particles getting stuck inside the keys and impeding the performance.
Alongside the launch of the new MacBook Pro hardware, the Blackmagic eGPU was announced and is available exclusively at Apple Stores and their website.
The eGPU provides you with an additional 8GB of GDDR5 memory in an external box, which will give you access to more power during video editing, smoother gaming and better VR experiences. It includes 4 USB ports, two thunderbolt 3 ports and one HDMI Port.
If you're thinking about purchasing,You also might want to consider protecting your new investment with one of Apple’s new leather sleeves for the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pro. And as there have been no cosmetic changes in this latest model the sleeve is backwards compatible wiht the 2017 and 2016 MacBook Pro as well.
The new leather sleeves come in three colors: Black, Midnight Blue, and Saddle Brown. The sleeves are made of high-quality leather, and inside feature a microfiber lining so your laptop is cradled in comfort.
