My hummingbird nest!! Eggs have hatched!

Well this was quite the emotional rollercoaster of a video! I started off by wanting to talk about the symbolism of hummingbirds in various cultures, which turned into remembering my mother’s day visit with one, to today finding out the lil eggies have hatched! I’ve had so many countless encounters with them at various times when I’d had great news, bad news, tough decisions, loss and so on. I’m not religious but I do believe in energy and spirituality in my own way.

Anyways, these lil babes need names ???? also thanks to my security cameras for capturing this hummingbird flying in my kitchen lol

Even though I didn’t get to talk about the symbolism in this video, hummingbirds are seen as healers, bringers of love, happiness, good luck, perseverance and joy. In dreams they are a reminder to embrace your freedom and trust your instincts. In death they are known in some cultures as sacred because they are believed to be spirts of dead warriors.

There’s a lot more, but they are such fascinating little creatures. I’m so glad they continue to choose me for their nesting grounds ????
