MSI GTX 1660 Gaming X 6G - GOOD card, but HOW MUCH?!

Today for Nvidia's latest launch, we didn't get a reference card at £199, but instead MSI sent us their Gaming X 6G model, which is priced at £249.99, or in real world terms, only £10 less than the 1660 ti MSRP at £259.99. Does it make any sense at all? Dominic tell it like it is. We really don't understand the pricing of these Nvidia based cards in 2019 - do any of you guys?
