Modding the Intel NUC 9 Extreme with James. PART 1

Today we start the first part of our new modding series featuring the Intel NUC 9 Extreme Element. Over the next month or so we will be taking this system apart, building our own watercooling block and seeing just how far we can push this unit, without making it bigger. It has turned out to be quite an involved process.

Today, we are focusing on what we plan on doing throughout this series, showing the hardware, getting reference benchmark figures and dealing with some early teething problems.
