Mirrorless or DSLR - Which Camera would you buy?
Description
Over the past few years Sony and Olympus have developed a range of mirrorless cameras with such impressive specifications that many professional photographers have started to pay attention.
For those of you currently looking to purchase a new camera in 2018, it can be a daunting time as the duopoly that existed in the form of Canon and Nikon has now been challenged by these newcomers into the space and for good reason.
Sony, with their latest A7 and A9 cameras offer full frame sensors in a lighter body which can often outperform even the highest spec DSLR in terms of Megapixel count, Frame Rate and ability to shoot Full Frame 4K video.
Olympus also gets a mention in this video as for a more modest budget their mirrorless offering, although not full frame can give you incredible results in a very compact and stylish body. Add to that a large range of lenses you can see why many photographers and photo enthusiasts are attracted to the brand.
So in this video I outline the main differences between full frame, Micro 4.3 and APS-C and how the mechanics of a mirrorless camera is different to a DSLR.
