Lotus' Eletre SUV is a sign the company is growing up

Lotus has big new corporate parents with a big corporate budget, and now the company has a big SUV to match. It's called the Eletre and, with a curb weight in excess of 5,500 pounds, it's unlike any Lotus that's ever come before. Yes, it's quick and it's fun, but it's also overshadowed by other SUVs that are quicker or more luxurious. It's a remarkable first attempt from Lotus, but at the end of the day it's hard to know who it's really for.
