Holoride hands-on: VR gaming powered by your car
Description
We took a ran through San Francisco's Mission District to check out Holoride's automotive VR gaming platform. This system uses any bluetooth or WiFi enabled VR headset to play games that will pull from the car's navigational data. Everything from acceleration, direction, to GPS location can be used by developers in their game design. Holoride showed us a pair of demo games, but they plan to develop the SDK, and get other developers to actually create games for the platform.
