Has the NBN Let us Down? - Why we can't get Google Stadia in Australia
Description
if you've been waiting to try out the latest Google Stadia Streaming Service and you live in Australia then your out of luck.
The executives at Google have looked at the current state of affairs of our NBN internet infrastructure and deemed it to be too patchy and unreliable for the new platform game streaming service at this stage.
So Australia doesn't make the short list of countries to get access to the service when it becomes available in November 2019.
We may be considered in 2020 but for now we didn't make the cut.
Even though some of us are fortunate enough to have received a decent connection which meets the criteria for this new service, far too many homes in Australia are on a limited connection which doesn't quite match the specs needed......
What do you think of Australia's NBN roll out. What are your speeds and do you think we need to do better to keep up and compete on a global scale?
By the way, this is a new podcast format I am trying out for the channel. Do you like this kind of informal discussion on Technology and would you like to see more. Thumbs up if you want more of this type of content.
