Grilled Beef Stuffed Peppers | Meals for Under $15 | Char-Broil®
Description
Stuff your bell peppers on the cheap with this delicious, easy-to-make skillet.
Ingredients:
2 Bell Peppers, cut in half and seeds removed
1 lbs ground beef
8 oz of tomato sauce
½ cup cooked rice
½ cup yellow onion, diced
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
How to make it
1. Preheat grill to 350 degrees
2. Cut bell peppers in half and remove seeds along with any white flesh. Place peppers in an oiled cast iron pan with the cut side facing up.
3. In a large bowl add ground beef, tomato sauce, rice, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix well.
4. Stuff each pepper with the beef mixture. The amount of filling may vary depending on the size of your peppers, the more stuffing the better!
5. Place each stuffed pepper back in the cast iron pan and top generously with mozzarella cheese.
6. Place cast iron pan directly on top of the grill grates. They should take between 25-30 minutes to cook.
7. Once the internal temperature of the ground beef reached 165 degrees you can take them off the grill.
8. Serve Immediately and enjoy!
