Dior, Botter and Rains 3D Print Shoes at Paris Fashion Week

Botter 3D printed a shoe along with Reebok. Dior did so as well and now Rains has made a 3D printed shoe together with Zellerfeld. Three different brands all showcasing 3D printed shoes at Paris Fashion Week. The Botter shoe is very colorful, space aged, inspired by the shape of murex shells and made with HP polypropylene. The Rains shoe is very layered looking and made with desktop Material Extrusion in TPU. The Dior shoe is Powder Bed Fusion polyamide 12 and is a cellular structure. So were seeing three different technologies and three different polymers, all with very different looks. Is a watershed moment for 3D Printing?
