SmartReview.com attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2017) to see the Canon's new line of consumer camcorders. For 2017 Canon has 3 new camcorders in the R-Series. These include the HF-R800, HF-R80, and HF-R82. The HF-R80 and HF-R82 both have internal memory (16GB and 32GB), and built-in WiFi and NFC to share photos/video. All have touchscreen controls.

Some other new features: Flexible Slow and Fast motion recording, Highlight Priority mode — camera will automatically adjust to prevent silhouettes when the light is coming from behind the subject.
