Audi e-eron Sportback: Headlights so advanced, the US banned them

The Audi e-tron Sportback packs some impressive tech, including one easy to overlook feature, its headlights. In addition to standard high and low beams, the e-ton also sports a 'matrix', an array of micro-mirrors that can direct high intensity light. This can be used to project high beams that avoid blinding oncoming drivers, or to paint an area of bright light directly on your lane. It even displays a short an animation when the car starts. Sadly these features aren't approved by the NHSTA in the US, and while all e-tons will come with the matrix lights, for now, the only feature we'll get in the US is the startup animation.
