Apple's new "M1" processor in under 3 minutes

Apple's M1 chip is an 8 core processor at the heart of their new Macs and Macbooks. Replacing the Intel chips Apple has used for more than a decade, the M1 pairs 4 high-powered and 4 low-powered CPU cores with either a 7 or 8 core GPU, and Apple is claiming huge improvements in both performance and battery life.
