Aiper Scuba X1 Cordless =-Amazing Filtration Down to 3 Microns! 3 Hour Battery Life
Description
Aiper Scuba X1Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner
Key Features of the Aiper Scuba X1 The Scuba X1 may not have all the bells and whistles of the Pro Max, but it still brings some strong features to the table. Here’s what I noticed during my experience:
1. Cordless Design
The cordless setup is a major advantage. Without cables getting in the way, the Scuba X1 easily moved around my pool, and I didn’t have to worry about managing cords or tripping hazards. The Battery life of 3 hours was sufficient for one full cleaning session in my medium-sized pool.
2. Smart Navigation System
The Scuba X1 uses an intelligent pathing system to map out its cleaning route. While it covered most of the pool efficiently, I did notice it occasionally skipped tight corners and areas near steps. It seems like a very smart bot that crosses the pool nicely and doesn’t seem to have any bugs in the current firmware.
3. Strong Suction and Single Brush Design
The suction was impressive for its size, picking up leaves, dirt, and other debris effectively. In fact, it is one of the more powerful cordless robotic cleaners out there. You could see it sucking in leaf debris as well as dirt with no issues.
5. Pool Coverage
The X1 handled my test pool very well. It did not get stuck on the main drain or anywhere in the pool. I would say its coverage was about 98% which is excellent. It does a great job on the floors and walls, and the waterline mode is amazing. It’s designed for all pool types and I would say you are fine with this cleaner up to about 18,000 gallons. For a larger pool, I would recommend the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max, which has a longer run time.
5. Easy-Access Filter System
One of the highlights is its simple filter design. The top-loading basket is easy to remove and clean, making maintenance quick and straightforward. It filters down to an amazing 3 microns, which means this is perfect for areas with a lot of fine dust. This makes cleaning the filters completely a bit of a chore, and the material/media picks up everything in the pool.
6. User-Friendly Controls
The app control is nice to have, although it will lose communication while underwater if you don’t have the additional HydroCOMM Pro floating in your pool, which allows for underwater communication. The buttons on top are very simple, and it is very easy to set your cleaning modes.
Conclusion The Aiper Scuba X1 is a solid option for routine pool cleaning, especially for those who value simplicity and cordless convenience. While it may fall short in tougher cleaning scenarios or larger pools, it’s an effective and user-friendly solution for everyday maintenance. The 3-micron debris basket is great! The charging pad is also a great addition and makes recharging the cleaner very simple and easy.
