3D Printing News Unpeeled: Meta Buys Luxexcell

Meta has purchased 3D Printing lens company Luxexcell illustrating that optimal 3D printed geometries could decide the fate of much bigger industries. With the company´s technology Meta could make prescription AR and VR glasses which would mean that people would not need to wear additional contacts or glasses beneath their headsets. They could also in a more compact way integrate AR viewing windows in optics and pick and place chips and other electronics in the glasses during a build.
