3D Printed Tap Handle Design Challenge with Ultimaker and New Agorist Beer Company

Dave sits down with Alexander Meyer and Aaron Gonzalez of New Agorist Beer Company to judge the entries for the Tap Handle Design Challenge sponsored by Ultimaker!

There were so many amazing entries, it was tough to narrow the field and come up with the top three picks for the challenge. Entries were judged on the following:

- Was the design comprised of triangles?
- Did the design utilize New Agorists logo in a 3D dimensional way - like a tetrahedron?
- Did it contain a slot to slip in interchangeable cards to denote the style of beer?
- Extra points if the design can be “see through”.
- The design must be structurally sound for everyday use.
- Extra points for designs that conserve filament and printing time.

First place winner received an Ultimaker 2+ Extended 3D printer, second place received a MatterHackers Pulse 3D printer, and third place received a $200 MatterHackers gift card. ALL winners received some awesome New Agorist Beer Company swag!
